Announcements begin at 9:25
Worship begins at 9:30 a.m.
In our worship services we endeavor to provide experiences
for all people that will express, deepen, and shape their faith
through
the workings of the Holy Spirit, renewing the new covenant
God has made with us through Jesus Christ. We do this through
silence,
scripture readings, music, prayer, the spoken word and the
sacraments. Worship is at the core of our relationship with
our Creator,
Redeemer and Sustainer.
Using both traditional and contemporary elements, our worship
planning follows the outline of the Liturgical Year and centers
on the three-year Common Lectionary. Communion is celebrated
throughout the year.

Our music ministry has been a consistently strong and recognized
part of St. Andrew's worship throughout its history. We have
two choirs - Chancel Choir (Adults) and Hosanna Choir (elementary-age)
who provide anthems in a variety of styles. Hosanna choir
meets at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays after worship from October through May. The Chancel
choir rehearses from 7:30 – 9 p.m. on Thursday from September
through early June.
Congregational hymns are chosen from the Presbyterian Hymnal
(1990) or the more contemporary Sing the Faith songbooks.
Accompaniment is provided on organ
or piano with other instruments. The St. Andrew's organ is a wonderful
baroque-style tracker instrument by Charles Ruggles.
